In January, community volunteers and WWC board members spent the day cleaning signs, removing trash and clearing trails throughout the park. This day of service was offered to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in conjunction with nationwide service opportunities that celebrated his life and legacy.
Support for this effort was provided by HandsonRVA with a $500 grant that was used to purchase supplies used during the day. WWC is grateful for the support of partnering organizations like HandsonRVA and for every volunteer who participated.
